On Friday, March 6th, 2026, at 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM CST, Red Crosser mental health lead Naomi Berkowitz will offer a training titled “Human Trafficking After a Disaster.” While this session is designed for Red Cross Disaster Cycle Services responders, it is highly relevant for partners and collaborators who work with disaster-impacted populations.

This training will:
- Provide an overview of human trafficking and how it increases following disasters
- Address both sex trafficking and labor trafficking
- Review warning signs to watch for
- Discuss how to respond safely and appropriately to protect clients from harm
The presentation will last approximately one hour, with an additional 30 minutes reserved for questions and discussion.
