As we head into the new year, many impacted by the August 2025 floods are still facing significant recovery challenges, including structural damage, mechanical failures, financial strain, and displacement. In response to these ongoing needs, the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) has launched a Disaster Case Management Subcommittee focused on building a coordinated, community-driven approach to supporting flood-impacted households.

Meeting Purpose
This meeting will focus on the Disaster Case Management (DCM) component of the broader Long-Term Recovery (LTR) effort following the August 2025 floods. This meeting is specifically for those interested in supporting individuals and families as they navigate services, overcome barriers, and connect with assistance.
Who Should Attend
Anyone interested in directly supporting flood-impacted households is welcome — not just those with a formal “case manager” title. Outreach staff, navigators, advocates, community partners, volunteers, and organizations helping residents access services, repairs, or resources are encouraged to join.
