Disaster Case Management (DCM) Subcommittee | LTRG
Wednesday, February 4 | 2:00–3:00 PM | Virtual (RSVP below for the Teams link)
This meeting is part of the Long-Term Recovery Group (LTRG) structure established in response to the August 2025 flooding that impacted Southeast Wisconsin. As recovery efforts continue, more survivor needs, service gaps, and coordination challenges are coming to light across the region.
The Disaster Case Management (DCM) Subcommittee provides a space to align disaster case management efforts with direct service providers, community organizations, and referral partners supporting flood-impacted households. With significant activity underway and limited capacity to share every update individually, this meeting offers a timely opportunity to step back, share high-level insights, and identify where coordination and support are most needed.
This meeting will:
- Provide a high-level snapshot of current DCM efforts and emerging recovery needs
- Highlight trends and gaps being identified through public requests for help
- Review opportunities for collaboration, staffing, volunteers, and trusted referral pathways
- Surface issues that may require follow-up within the broader LTRG structure
The meeting will be held virtually to ensure accessibility and is not limited to Milwaukee County—partners supporting flood-impacted communities in surrounding areas are encouraged to participate.
Who should attend: This meeting is open to any individuals interested in learning more about how to support those impacted by the August 2025 floods, including:
- Organizations interested in serving as trusted referral partners for caseworkers
- Groups or individuals interested in supporting DCM through staffing, volunteers, or specialized services
- Anyone interested in general awareness of long-term recovery efforts related to the August floods
