Crisis Intervention Partner Training

Distributed to Red Cross partners and Collaborators Throughout Southeast Wisconsin

The American Red Cross is excited to partner with NAMI Wisconsin to offer a Crisis Intervention Partner (CIP) Training for our volunteers and community partners across Southeast Wisconsin. We wanted to intentionally open seats to our partner agencies because you are often the first people individuals encounter during stressful or crisis situations — and having shared approaches across organizations helps us better support our community together.

This 16-hour, in-person training is modeled after the educational components of Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) programs and focuses on practical skills you can use in both disaster and day-to-day interactions.

Participants who complete both days will receive a NAMI CIP certificate and CIP pin.
