Join us on May 13, 2026 from 5-6:30pm for a community event focused on flood recovery, resilience, and moving forward—together.
This event will be hosted by Safe & Sound, in partnership with the Milwaukee Health Department and the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) Wisconsin Conference, and various recovery partners.
We want to know:
- What would help you feel more safe in your home during future flood events?
- What would an ideal disaster response look like?
- Do you have ideas on how to reduce the flooding risk in your neighborhood?
What resources will be available?
- Mold kits & masks
- Clean-up buckets with supplies
- Referrals on-site for UMCOR’s free flood cleanup and rebuild support
- Emergency Go-Bags & supplies (ex: weather radios)
- Refreshments
